What counts as a project?

A project is one job for one customer — one address, one contract. The plan limit counts active projects only: archive a job when it's finished and the slot frees up immediately, so Starter's three projects mean three jobs running at once, not three jobs ever. Estimates and leads that haven't been won yet don't count at all, and neither do your customers, your crew, or the jobs you archived last year — all of it stays readable.

What counts as a user?

The plan limit is for office seats — owners, admins, PMs, estimators, anyone who logs into the back office. Crew-role users never count against it, so field hands who only clock in, take photos, and update tasks from the app are free no matter how many you add. Need more office seats than your plan includes? Add extras any time — they don't require an upgrade.

Need more office seats? Add extras any time for $5/mo ($50/yr) per seat. Crew-role users never count against your seat limit. Every plan includes a 30-day free trial.

Before you start

What happens if I hit the project limit?

Nothing breaks — you just can't start a new project until you archive a finished one or move up a plan. Archiving frees the slot immediately and keeps everything on the job readable. You can switch plans yourself in Settings > Billing.

Can I switch plans mid-cycle?

Yes, either direction. Settings > Billing opens your subscription with Stripe, our payment provider, where you can change plan or interval — what you've already paid for the current period is credited against the change rather than lost. Extra office seats added mid-cycle aren't charged until your next renewal.

Is there a contract?

No. Every plan is month-to-month by default and you cancel yourself in Settings > Billing — no notice period and no retention call. Annual prepay is offered at a discount if you'd rather have the lower rate, but it's never required.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your account stays active through the end of the period you've paid for, so you can export what you need: reports and payroll to CSV, estimates and invoices as PDFs. Anything you synced to QuickBooks Online is already in QuickBooks and stays there — we sync to your books, we don't hold them.
